Student Admissions Finland How and When?
All study applications are apllied via study info only portal. Universities and Polytechnics have their own timetable and application periods. A joint application for Bachelor studies in English usually starts in January every year. Normally, Bachelor studies in English are commenced only in Polytechnics in Finland. Very few Universities have Bachelor programs in English. A polytechnic or University of Applied Sciences is different than University which offers a wide range of bachelor and master studies in English. How?
Apply through joint application system. You can apply upto 6 different universities and study programs with a single application. Haaga-Helia has its own application period. Applicants outside Finland, check FINNIPS countries list which arranges entrance outside Finland.

Joint Application period 1: 8th Jan - 22th Jan; Study starts Aug2020----Additional application open 4th May2020.
Joint Application Period 2: 2nd – 16th September ; Study starts Jan 2021
Additional application period: Check Universities/Polytechnics webpages for this. Usually it opens in April May.

Apply via studyinfo or visit universities/uas web page. You can apply to as many universities as you prefer. Remember Polytechnics or UAS required 2-3 years of work experiences (mandatory) after graduation date.

Doctoral/PHD studies
Basically, there is no any joint application period for this. Some universities accept student every time while some has certain application period. Check your field of study and contact with universities for PHD studies. The average funding for your phd starts from €2300 depending on your studies..
