After completing your studies in Finland, you can apply for a a residence permit to look for work or to start a business. This permit allows you to stay in Finland and search for work or start a business.

Permit Name: Job-Seeking or Entrepreneurship Permit
Duration: Up to 2 years (as of April 15, 2022)
When to Apply: Immediately after graduation, while your student permit is still valid
Fee: €530 online / €580 paper - You can apply for a residence permit with this application also if you already have a job but you do not earn enough to be issued with a residence permit on the basis of work.

1. Complete your degree program from a Finnish university or UAS.
2. Apply immedietely after graduation or 1 month before graduation-: Apply before your current permit exprires.
